Computing the for Terrified (CTFT)
A 10 week course for beginners who don't need a qualification, covering word processing, using the internet and sending emails. As this course does not lead to a qualification it can be much more flexible, so please speak to the tutor about any special learning requests

Computing for the Terrified plus (CTFT+)
A follow on course covering the more creative aspects of using a computer: using MS Word, Publisher, Paint etc to create invitations, posters, calendars, etc. Again as this course does not lead to a qualification it can be tailored to meet the needs of the group

Functional Skills ICT*
This City & Guilds course covers file management, security, using the internet and email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases and image handling.
The course requires a good basic knowledge of IT and will involve quite a lot of homework and ends with a 2 hour exam

CTFT+ - Monday 9.30-11.30
Functional Skills ICT - Friday 12:30-14:30
